Mwaka huu GSC imeandaa makambi kazi katika mwaka 2008 yatakayo fanyika maeneo mbalimbali inchini Tanzania kwa ajili ya kuhudumia jamii kwa njia ya kujitolea.

Tunawakaribisha katika mojawapo ya kambi kazi ili nawewe ujekujifunza jinsi zinvyofanyika.

MBONDOLE AGRICUTURE GROUP

Mbondole Agriculture Group is a youth based organization initiated by 12 youth members after completing their 2 years training in the National service. The group formed with the aim of implementing agriculture activities, animal keeping and carpentry to help its members to be self reliant. The project takes place in the countryside at Mbondole village south of

Dar es   salaam

about 35km from the city center.

GOOD SAMARITAN CENTRE GSC

GSC is non-governmental organization which creates programs which provide basic needs to marginalized groups such as orphans and vulnerable children, Youths, Elderly and Widows. On 2007 bought a piece of land in Hoyoyo village in Coast region for building Orphanage centre. The project is located South West of Dar es salaam about 55km from

Work: Volunteers will do cleaning the bushes and plant tree like shadow plants, Fruit plants, and also volunteers will do environmental education at Hoyoyo primary school and constructing road.

Study: HIV/AIDS is one of the case resulted children orphans.

PEMBA-ZANZIBAR

The

Island

Pemba

is 48km northeast of Unguja and 56km off the Tanzanian mainland. In order to make business more profitable, some fishermen leave their homes, camping and fishing for prolonged periods. Sometimes take for more than three months, leaving their families and children at their homes. It is common for fishermen to involve themselves in casual and unprotected sexual affairs with women around the villages in which they camp. So the possibility of these women indulging in casual sex and thus predisposing them to STD/HIV infections.

Work: To encourage fishers to take voluntary HIV/AIDS counseling and testing.

, there is a campaign going on of building more Government secondary school and primaries namely as “Ward school”. Many of schools left unplanted trees.

Work: Volunteers will do tree planting to those new built schools and other places where Ilala Municipal council will want us to plant trees and visit other NGOs dealing with Environment issues.

Study: The city of Dar es Salaam have been polluted by plastic Cabbages, So volunteers will utilize their time to discuss in a group on environment pollution and see what other country do about it.

mineworker Development Association (TMWDA), we will promote awareness to Mineworkers on child labour and its worst forms issues.

Study: Cases of Child labour have been reported in many regions in

Tanzania

especially in Iringa, Arusha, Dodoma etc, therefore, Volunteers will share those challenges on child labour and its worst forms. We encourage you to come with your country information on child labour issues.

The objective of this project is to promote communities development activities, to promote communities voluntarism awareness, fighting HIV/AIDS and environmental conservation through partnership activities

Work: volunteers will be involved in environmental activities like nature reserve, planting trees and discuss about HIV/AIDS as mortal threats to human resources

Topic: ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

KISARAWE-COST REGION

Kisarawe is a rural area situated to the southwest of

Dar es Salaam

. It has a population of roughly 100.000 people spread around the forest area. Poverty levels are high and education levels are low in this area. Illiteracy is common. The majority of the population lives of the forest, which is increasingly disappearing due to unsustainable exploitation. various NGO`S operate in this area in an attempt to combat HIV, poverty and overexploitation of the forest which in the near future could render conditions there critical.

Work: HIV/AIDS and Environmental campaign in rural area and primary schools.

Extra information: The camp fee is 210$ and 400$ for two camps. Transport cost from the meeting point to the orientation area is us$2, no extra cost to go to the host community.

Accommodation: vijana hostel.

1.0 UTANGULIZI

 Kituo cha msaada Kwa Wajane na Watoto (CWCA) ni shirika lisilo la kiserikali lililoanzishwa mwaka 2003 na kupata usajiri kwa mujibu wa sheria za Tanzania mwaka 2005 na kupata Namba ya usajiri 51556.

 

Shirika hili linajishughulisha na maswala yanayohusu haki za binadamu na njozi zake ni kuhakikisha haki za binadamu zina heshimika na kukuzwa.

Kituo hiki ni moja kati ya vituo vilivyo katika mtandao wa African Communities ambao unajishughulisha na maswala mbalimbali yanayohusu watoto mtandao huu unafadhiliwa na shirika linaloitwa Argentarius Foundation lenye makao yake makuu London- UK .

 

Katika kuhakikisha kuwa tunadumisha uhusiano uliopo kati yetu na mfadhili, kuna mikakati tuliowekeana na moja kubwa kati ya mikakati hiyo ni kwamba kila kikundi kina kuwa tayari kukubali kutembelewa na kutembelea kundi lingine kwa misingi ya kubadilishana mawazo na uzoefu ambao utatumika kwa faida ya pande zote mbili lakini pia kwa wana mtandao wote.

3.0 VIKUNDI VILIVYOTEMBELEWA NA CWCA 2007

 

Ili kuweza kutekeleza moja ya mikakati tuliojiwekea kwa mwaka 2007, CWCA imeweza kufanikiwa kuvitembelea vikundi 6 na kubadilishana uzoefu wa mambo mbalimbali yanayohusu OVCs. Vikundi hivyo ni:-CHIYOWONET, POFIDESO, NICE, YLRF, SEGETA na CHIMABA

Jinsi wajane wanavyosaidiwa kwa kukopeshwa mikopo midogomidogo na OVC kusomeshwa shule

Tumejifunza kwamba pamoja na kuwapatia ushauri wa kisheria wajane na watoto, tunaweza kutafuta wafadhili zaidi na kuweza kuimalisha kitengo chetu cha misaada ili kuwapatia wajane mikopo midogo midogo na hatimaye kuweza kujikomboa kimaisha na wale OVC kuweza kusomeshwa shule ili kuhakikisha kuwa haki Elimu inapatikana kwa wote

 

5.0 HITISHO.

 

 

CWCA itaendalea kuwasaidia wajane na watoto walio katika mazingira magumu na kufanya kila liwezekanalo ili kila mjane, kila mtoto aweze kufikiwa kulingana na uwezo wa kituo.

 

Zaidi ya hayo, kituo kinaridhika kwa kiasi kikubwa na ushirikiano unaotoka katika idara mbalimbali serikalini, na wadau waliopo katika mtandao wa African Communities.

 

Shukrani za pekee zimwendee mfadhili wetu Argentarius Faundation kupitia African Communities Network kwa kukubali kuendelea na ufadhili wake kwa kipindi kingine .
